Transparency and Support Are Key

Wednesday 20th July saw us hold our second quarter update for Investment Managers. Our transparent approach to relationships means we view these updates as fundamental to our performance as a team. We are able to realign our goals and set out our ongoing support proposition. With new Investment Managers in the team, it was exciting and refreshing to have to include introductions in the agenda. As further evidence of the team’s growth it was announced that as part of the new set up, John Mcalife will be our London based Business Development Manager.

Recognising Success

Our support speaks for itself when it comes to performance and so the highlight of the day was being able to recognise the success of our Investment Managers. It’s important to us that as a team success is recognised and so we were more than happy to give out four awards on the day.

John Philips is the most recent starter in our Q2 Investment Manager report, so had time against him, but his hard work didn’t go unnoticed as he was recognised for his good attitude and determination to succeed.

John told us: “overall I thought the day was great with many positives…Mike (our Business Development Manager) kept the meeting flowing and the message is very positive”.

We were pleased to award Shaun Melody for the most quality and quantity of business written in the quarter. Shaun is also noted as holding the same accolade for the year to date. This cements Shaun’s commitment to our proposition for clients and that he endorses this investment solution wholeheartedly.

Congratulations is also in order for Chris Bradley who has completed the most cases this quarter. As part of the day’s agenda Chris also demonstrated how he conducts his Auto Enrolment meetings that have led to his impressive results. John Philips also commented that “Chris Bradley’s presentation on how he gets apps form the AE meeting was probably the key thing I got to take away and will implement.” Our Auto-Enrolment solution is one of the most robust on the market and designed to make the transition for employers, employees and accountants as streamlined as possible.

Finally, Tony Martin who is one of our newest Investment Managers was recognised for his great start with True Potential.

A final thank you to all who were involved in making the day happen.

If you’re new to True Potential and want to talk about a working relationship, we’d love to meet you and show you around during one of our Insight Days. Contact the recruitment team at insight@tpllp.com.
