We are pleased to announce that True Potential Investments has added a new Goldman Sachs Asset Management income strategy fund to the Wealth Platform on an exclusive distribution deal.

The objective of the Global Income Builder portfolio is to provide investors with attractive and sustainable yields of 4.5%-5.5% and capital appreciation by dynamically managing a portfolio of global equities and bonds. The fund will make monthly income distributions and is competitively priced with the ongoing charge being 0.9% pa.

With an asset allocation of 60% fixed interest and 40% equities, the fund will appeal to investors who are seeking a regular income from their portfolios but with less volatility than traditional equity markets. It is managed by the same Goldman Sachs Asset Management team that manages the $1bn + Income Builder fund in the US.

Mark Henderson, Senior Partner at True Potential Investments LLP, said: “Our goal is to provide a range of exclusive and differentiated fund strategies that are fully integrated within our current offering. To meet client goals and provide investors with funds capable of delivering returns, we believe that multi-asset funds give clients exposure to both traditional and non traditional asset classes, all within the client’s assessed risk profile.

“This latest exclusive deal with Goldman Sachs Asset Management continues our strong relationship with the world-leading asset management firm, giving our Wealth Platform a unique offer that builds on the Dynamic and Protector strategy funds we added last August with both proving to be extremely popular with advisers and clients.”

Nick Phillips, head of Goldman Sachs Asset Management’s Third Party Distribution International business said: “We are delighted to expand our partnership with True Potential in the UK. Our Global Income Builder portfolio brings together the strengths of Goldman Sachs Asset Management’s Global Fixed Income and Fundamental Equity teams to create a high quality income product designed to meet clients’ growing need for income with potential capital appreciation.”
